This league table, compiled by Fast Track, ranks Britain’s private mid-market growth companies by latest sales. This year’s Top 250 companies generated combined sales of £62.4bn, up 16% from £53.9bn in 2016.
Some of the key themes present in this year’s table include gender diversity, with the majority of companies having 1 or more female directors. The ability to innovate has also been recognised as a key attribute for many companies, with many investing in hi-tech software and research.
Amongst all 250 companies, Hyperion is one of only five who are employee-owned.
