Claims past 5 years
Are you aware of any claims within the last 5 years or any incidents that may give rise to a claim? If yes please provide details.
An "incident giving rise to a claim" is any incident that could have caused a claim to be made, whether it was reported to the insurer or not. For example, if there had been an accident at a club, but it had been decided not to launch a claim, that is an incident giving rise to a claim. It is always helpful to report incidents giving rise to a claim to your broker (it is a myth that reporting such incidents will mean your premiums go up).
What is the expiring premium?
Expiring is the premium of the insurance policy that is running out. Essentially, how much did you pay last year?
